Discover the fascinating world of ancient plants, and learn to
identify them yourself!

Flowers. Plants. Crops. Humans are gardeners, farmers, gatherers, and even florists. What is the oldest preserved flower? Which fruits did people grow in their ancient gardens? Can you bring an extinct plant back to life? How do archaeologists know which plants people grew? And can you learn to identify the signs of ancient flowers? In this live, online class, you’ll discover the colourful, brilliant, and wonderful world of ancient plants. The session will begin with some of our favourite stories about ancient plants, and how archaeologists have unearthed them.You will then have a go at one of the techniques that archaeologists use to find out what plants people were growing – no special tools needed!This will be a totally unique experience and we are very excited to get exploring with you.No previous experience necessary. We&#x27;ll take you step-by-step through the wonderful world of ancient plants.What age group is this for? This event is suitable for all ages.Will you be recording the event?
