Be inspired by soil - and create  short peices of writing and poetry in the peaceful  surroundings of the Backlands garden in Dunbar.

The Ridge

This creative writing workshop will be facilitated by Colin Will, an experienced local writer, poet and keen gardener, formerly with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Talking about soil as our starting point, we’ll discuss how soils are made, why they’re important and how they should be nourished and cared for. Leading on to using our knowledge and feelings to make pieces of creative writing.New and experienced writers - all are welcome!
