Belfast punk band Mob Wife celebrate the release of their debut album 'Eat With Your Eyes' with support from Lauren Ann + smallmint.

Off the back of a sold-out hometown headline show, Belfast DIY punk trio Mob Wife have announced the release of debut album Eat With Your Eyes, slated to land on Friday 29th April.Along with the announcement comes new single ‘Cutting Teeth On Suburban Curbs’, out March 18th, which sees the band at full panorama. The track veers from sludgy, slack, Pixies and Pavement-esque wandering indie rock to the band’s signature kinetic propulsion, á la Fugazi.An overarching meditation on panic and of moral compass in the face of impending doom, Eat With Your Eyes was written over the course of lockdown, and is, aptly enough, equal parts pummelling and panoramic, and as claustrophobic as it is expansive. It was recorded and mixed by the band’s bassist, increasingly renowned producer/engineer Carl Small, with artwork by Georgia Collins, aka Peach. - Kate Brayden, Hot Press MagazineLauren Ann has been busy establishing herself within the Irish music scene as one of the most exciting acts in years.
