GEM Conference 2022 will be taking place at the Museum of Making in Derby, from 7 - 9 September 2022. The theme is &#x27;Thinking Outwards: a way forward for museum learning&#x27;, and will include talks on topics including sustainable community partnership building, staff wellbeing, hybrid activities, and more.In recognition of the fact that the world has changed since our last in-person conference, in 2019, GEM Conference 2022 will be our first hybrid conference. All of the main conference sessions, including keynotes, most members presentations, and panel discussions, will be available to join live online. Online participants will be able to take part in these sessions alongside in-person attendees, and will also be able to catch up on the session recordings after the Conference has ended.Further details of this online offer, and the GEM Conference 2022 Programme, will be released over the coming months. Please note that the Early Bird ticket offer will expire on 15 July 2022.You are invited to book to join us online for the whole of GEM Conference 2022, either as an individual, or as part of an organisation with our All Staff ticket offer. Instructions for All Staff tickets:Please nominate one member of your organisation to book an All Staff ticket for GEM Conference 2022. You will be supplied with a separate registration link, which you should share with any colleagues who also wish to attend the conference. There is no extra cost to register additional colleagues, however they must provide their details via this form to receive access to GEM Conference 2022. All Staff tickets are also an opportunity for non-learning colleagues to take part in GEM Conference, to learn more about what we do, and why learning is so important. Please invite staff from other departments, including Front of House colleagues and volunteers, to take up this offer.
