Preventing Suicide Workshops

ASIST training is a two full day face to face workshop that gives participants the skills needed to help a person in suicide crisis

Chesterton Community Centre

ASIST participants gain knowledge about suicide, skills to reach out and the confidence to help save a life.Through the workshop participants will learn and practice life saving intervention model backed by the World Health Organisation that is widely used by professionals and the general public. In 2016 15, 201 suicide attempts were prevented using the ASIST framework.
