Purbeck Coast Tractor Run and Fun 1st and 2nd July 2022

We run again!! After the success of the tractor run weekend in 2019 and raising over £17,000 for the Dorset Cancer Centre at Poole Hospital, we are holding the event again to raise more vital funds for cancer and enjoy another weekend of tractor fun!The weekend begins with tractors and campers arriving on Friday 1st July and during the evening we have live music on the stage, and the bar and the catering trailer will be open. On Saturday 2nd July the tractor run commences at 9am travelling through the scenic Purbeck countryside, taking in breath-taking views (from a different angle) of Old Harry Rocks, Sandbanks, Poole Quay and more, returning to Throop Hollow Farm mid afternoon. There will be various entertainments and activities during the afternoon including Dyno tuning, welly wanging, an exciting auction and more to follow... The food and the bar will be open and then the evening live music begins at 7pm. If you would like to camp over you are very welcome to (for free!) and we will have toilets and hot showers for you. The event finishes after the Saturday night entertainments and campers can stay and pack up on Sunday 3rd.TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ENTRY INTO THE TRACTOR RUN AND THE EVENING ENTERTAINMENT. DURING SATURDAY YOU ARE VERY WELCOME TO COME ALONG AND SEE THE TRACTORS OFF, OR WELCOME THEM BACK MID AFTERNOON AND JOIN IN THE FUN AND ACTIVITIES DURING THE DAY FOR FREE. All funds raised will go to the Dorset Cancer Centre. The Dorset Cancer Centre is based at Poole Hospital and is the major specialist cancer treatment centre for adults in the county. The centre provides a wide range of treatments including radiotherapy and chemotherapy for both common and rare cancers. University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity supports all wards and departments at Poole, Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals. They aim to improve facilities, equipment and patient experience which are over and above NHS provision. Poole Hospital, part of University Hospitals Dorset NHS Trust, is an acute general hospital based on the south coast of England. The hospital has a 24-hour major accident and emergency department and is the designated trauma unit for East Dorset, serving a population of over 500,000 people.
