Ever read a book you’d love to see onstage? Why not try it yourself?

<p>This brand new 2 hour session will take you through the building blocks of adaptation: changing prose to dialogue; chapters to scenes; descriptions to stage directions. Lead by Sam Essame, we’ll explore how to transfer plot, character and themes of our favourite stories from the printed page to the live stage.</p><p>Sam is a playwright, director, dramaturg and producer. He is an alumnus of Papatango’s WriteWest workshop programme and the HighTide Theatre Academy. He is also co-Artistic Director of Danse Macabre Productions, producer of the South West Horror Festival and a theatre writer for the London Horror Society.</p>
