In August 2011 Barry College and Coleg Glan Hafren, two established and successful Further Education (FE) colleges merged to create Cardiff and Vale College / Coleg Caerdydd a’r Fro, one of the largest and most exciting colleges in the country.The merger is part of an innovative vision, set out by the Welsh Government, to transform post-16 education and training in the Capital Region of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

About this event Join us at an Open Evening this March on campus! If you’re thinking about College, there’s no better way to find out more than visiting us at an Open Evening. At an Open Evening you can speak to tutors about your course of interest, take a tour of the facilities on site, get advice and guidance and learn about support and opportunities offered by the College. You can even apply there and then with help on hand from friendly staff. Secure your College place now! Booking is essential so select your time slot to attend. This time slot is your arrival time slot for the event. Please arrive within this half hour time frame.You can bring a maximum of one person with you to the Open Evening. Booking your place admits you and one other person to the event. Keeping you safe We’ve put measures in place to ensure all visitors and staff stay safe on campus.
