As part of this, we have created a series of webinars focused on supporting, engaging and celebrating emerging talent within the natural world filmmaking and storytelling industry. There are so many untold stories within the natural filmmaking world and now more than ever, it is important we share these stories and examine the power of hyper-local storytelling. <h2>Laura Pennafort</h2>Laura is a biologist and wildlife filmmaker, born in Brazil but now based in Bristol, UK. She has a huge passion for ecology and conservation and a love for all animals. Since completing a masters in Wildlife Documentary Production, she have been working on creating her own conservation films, including a film on Brazil's wetlands in which she collaborated with local organisations and NGOs to shine a light on conservation stories and climate change. Her main goal as a wildlife filmmaker is to reconnect people with nature and inspire them to protect our beautiful planet. She also aims to be a voice for more women and LGBTQ+ people in STEM and in natural history TV, as well as an advocate for endangered species and biomes of global importance in my home country.

<h2>Natalie Clements</h2>Natalie has worked as a camera operator and self shooting producer/director in television for 10 years.Natalie has worked in broadcast news, documentary, entertainment and lives both in studio and on OB for a small fast paced broadcaster and regional broadcasters such as BBC WalesFor the past two years she has specialised in wildlife content, specifically focusing on conservation, re-wilding and international animal moves.Her passion for wildlife and conservation has enabled her to work with zookeepers, conservationists and NGO's on ground-breaking conservation projects as a self shooting DP.Most recently, Natalie has worked as a camera operator on various high-profile television series, including BBC Springwatch.

<h2>Will Clothier</h2>Will is a Shooting natural history researcher with field experience in African big-game reintroduction, management, and research. He has a MA Wildlife Filmmaking UWE, 2020/21 and is a Wildlife Conservation BSc graduate from the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE).

<h2>Lara Paxton - Host</h2>Lara graduated with a degree in Media Communication and Cultural Studies from Bath Spa University. From here her love of travel took over, and she worked in various roles within the tourism industry, including time spent working in Australia, Spain, UK, New Zealand and Canada. She also travelled the world, visiting over 80 countries and all 7 continents. Her passion for Wildlife and photography was always at the forefront of her travels and it was this that led her to her role at Wildscreen, which she joined in 2021, as the Wildscreen Network Manager. She is now working with freelancers and production companies, and helping to grown and shape the worlds best natural world storytelling network community across the globe.
