Following on from our inaugural London Networking event in April, we are pleased to say we will be returning to the capital. Join the Wildscreen team, friends and colleagues and new faces in the natural world storytelling community, between 6-9pm on Thursday 14th July, at RED Ditgital HQ, in Fitzrovia, LONDON.The evening will be supported by RED Digital.As part of this evening, we are going to have a panel discussing the latest trends and exciting things in wildlife cinematography. For the panel, we will be joined by underwater filmmaker, Jess Mitchell, and underwater motion photographer, Maya de Almeida Araujo.This networking event is open to members and non-members of the <a href="https://www.wildscreennetwork.org/s/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Wildscreen Network</a>, and will allow you to network with community members based in London.As before, the evening will be focused on socialising and networking and will be open to both members and non-members of the Wildscreen Network. Feel free to tell friends and colleagues, all welcome. Tickets for members are £12pp and £15pp for non-members and will include one drink. <h1>Jess Mitchell</h1>Jess is a camera operator based out of Bristol and Cornwall.As a dedicated and passionate photographer, she is constantly looking for new moments to capture on camera. Since beginning her professional journey, Jess has worked on many different types of projects that have expanded her experience and added to her portfolio.

<h1>Maya de Almeida Araujo</h1>Maya is a photographer and creative director, focused in under water motion photography. Graduated in Biology for Imperial College, she holds a Master in photography, but counts almost two decades of experience capturing movement under water. Her images are the result of a true feeling of admiration for the natural world, where the creative possibilities are unlimited.The underwater photography, of which she is the author, has been described as intimate, ethereal and mystic. Her work is created both in the sea and in subaquatic tailor-made pools, equipped with high-powered studio lights.Maya Almeida was a pioneer in the use of stroboscopic underwater illumination to capture images of dancers in their many movement stages, highly visible in her project “Underwater Dance Series”.In collaboration with Canon Europe, she led a creative team in the visual portrait in the relation of women and water, through the images of faces movement in the water. Currently, she leads a global project that involves the use of pioneering illumination and high-speed videography in the open sea. The main goal of this project is to inspire the oldest and youngest generations to conserve our ocean.
