Bell House is a volunteer led charity that provides creative learning for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our vision is to offer an opportunity to gather for learning, enjoyment and friendship in a special place.

A garden party to celebrate 25 years of Fine Cell Work, whilst also enjoying the Bell House garden and the Quilt Academy works.

Fine Cell Work is a charity and social enterprise which teaches prisoners and ex-prisoners to stitch beautiful handmade products as a way of rehabilitation.

Working in 32 prisons and with an employment training hub in Battersea, Fine Cell Work trains and pays men and women to do skilled craftwork in their cells, and on sewing and embroidery machines in workshops. 

The making and selling of prisoners’ high-quality needlework boosts their self-worth, instils self-discipline and fosters hope. Fine Cell Work’s aim is for stitchers to leave prison with the skills and self-belief to lead independent, crime-free lives.

Many of Fine Cell Work’s products are designed in collaboration with the country’s leading contemporary designers such as Neisha Crosland, Cath Kidston, Kit Kemp, Pentreath &amp; Hall, Blithfield and Cressida Bell. Our unique ranges encompass cushions, accessories, table linens and furniture. We also create exquisite bespoke pieces on commission for designers, artists and private clients.

Tickets are £10 each which includes tea and cakes. Children go free.
