BullyBusters - A  parents awareness session; What can we do

Liverpool Parenting Network is facilitated by Liverpool City Council and includes both statutory and VCS organisations in the Liverpool city area.  The aim is to provide quality support for parents enabling access to educational services to compliment a parents skills.

Bullying can trigger many emotions within a household; we are holding an awareness session for parents or carers to assist them in dealing with any issues that may arise and knowing how to contact us for support. Bullying can be interpreted in many ways and can affect young people and their wider contact circle in many ways. We are here to help, alleviate pressure and aim to achieve a positive outcome for all involved. 

Aims of our session 
•	Offer a definition of bullying and talk about misconceptions 
•	Explain how our sessions work and the message we deliver to young people 
•	How to achieve the best support for your child and the school 
•	Warning signs of cyber bulling 
•	Age of criminal responsibility 
•	Question time
