Creative UK is the result of the Creative Industries Federation and Creative England coming together under one brand identity. We will continue to support creative people and businesses through our investment, business and industry growth initiatives, including our England-only activity with support from the BFI and National Lottery funding. We will continue to connect and champion the creative sector through our membership and advocacy work.

A two-day event focused on building bridges to innovation, aimed at anyone working in film, TV, games, animation, or immersive tech.

XPLOR

Join Creative UK and Digital Catapult for a two-day event focused on building bridges to innovation. Developed by Creative Enterprise, Wakefield: Advance and Digital Catapult with support from the XPLOR, we are looking to bring together screen industry innovators to hear from experts and find new ways to collaborate towards accessing funding. The first day of the event will focus on the best ways to innovate and collaborate, while the second day's focus will be solely on funding and finding ways to address the briefs set forward by Digital Catapult and Creative Enterprise. Together, the funding initiatives and challenges presented will open more than £500,000 of funding available to applicants, as well as highlight other ways to fund innovation in the creative sectors. We are looking forward to welcoming companies and freelancers from the following fields: games, film &amp; tv, animation or immersive (AR/VR/MR/XR/VP), prioritising those who have not yet had the chance to take part in a Wakefield: Advance workshop!<h3>Places for this event are limited. Any creative industry companies or freelancers are welcome to attend, however if interest is strong we will be prioritising businesses in the Wakefield area. </h3><h3>To register your interest in attending, sign up on Eventbrite and the Creative UK team will be in touch to confirm your place and provide full details of the event schedule.</h3>Deadline for registration: 5pm on Monday 06th June 2022CateringCatering will be provided throughout the duration of the event. On day 1, attendees will receive refreshments on arrival, lunch, an evening meal and drinks. On day 2, light snacks will be provided before finishing at 2.30pm.COVID ComplianceKeeping our guests, students and staff safe is our highest priority.
