Scottish Cut Flowers is a flower farm based in Tayside over 2 sites: a Victorian walled garden and a site for polytunnels. We produce beautiful blooms and foliage for florists and the public. Our produce is sustainably grown which essentially means we try to do right by the land we are custodians of. No nasty chemicals such as herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, fertilisers or preservatives are used on the crops we grow. Learn how to make a gorgeous, lush and colourful flower crown packed full of Scottish Cut Flower's finest Spring blooms. Ranunculus, Anemones, Lilac, hellebores...... *insert drooling emoji! This workshop will:- Give you access to a range of our stunning chemical-free Spring blooms in various colours.- A detailed demonstration of how to construct your own flower crown.- All the materials and tools required for the task- The time and space to get creative and design a piece that is an unique as your personality.- Tea/Coffee/Juice and homemade baking to enjoy throughout the class.This workshop is perfect for all levels of experience and abilities. Rosie will take you through the technique, step-by-step during a demonstration and then be on hand to help once you're let loose on the goodies! At the end of the workshop you'll leave adorned with your floral crown, people will bow as you pass in awe of your floral prowess, and you'll have the ability to whip up another crown whenever your head feels bare.Tea/Coffee and cake will be served on arrival.Please aim to arrive at least 15 mins before the scheduled start of the workshop to eat cake, drink coffee, wander around the walled garden and introduce yourself to the others. Everyone who comes to a Scottish Cut Flowers Workshop will be a kindred spirit, its always a gabble! Many people come alone and leave feeling they've made new friends.
