Maria is an ANFT Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide and Coach, EcoNidra Teacher, Therapetic writing teacher, story weaving facilitator and Mindfulness/ Compassion Teacher.She is the founder of Mindful Connections where she facilitates both individual, group and private experiences to help increase balance, stillness and much needed rest.She works with public groups, 1:1 individualised coaching & mentoring and private teams to help promote  wellbeing, balance and resilience.After a period of work related burn out in 2001 and 2002, Maria found a path to her own restoration during a solo journey along the West Coast of Ireland.She is dedicated to helping  others find their own balance, stillness and rediscovery through the healing power of Nature and Connection, natural silence and self care practices.

Nature & Forest Bathing | Wellbeing Wanders

Our wellbeing wanders in Nature, (be it deep within a woodland or along our beaches and seashores) , offer a real chance to slow down, ignite our senses and connect with our natural environments and our own true nature.

Stepping out of the demands of your busy life to slow down and relax with our Nature and Forest Bathing experience. This session will help you to slow down, relax and reduce stress levels whilst awakening your body senses. We will offer a number of invitations through this session that are designed to help you deepen your connection with nature and the nature world that surrounds you, your connection with yourself and your own true nature. It also helps you to activate your calming branch of your nervous system, the parasympathetic nervous system, your rest and digest mode. This is a remotely guided walk which means that you can connect from your own home, garden or nearby green space. Or often participants choose a blend of home and garden. I would recommend you have some access to nature from a window to look out to a plant or a pet. It works, It has all been tested and proven. Once registered, your will be sent a zoom link. Simply have your device and perhaps headphones / earbuds, although not essential, and join at the relevant start time. Nature and forest therapy; spending time in natural green and blue spaces can help reduce stress, normalise blood pressure, increase clarity and focus, boost immune systems and enhance mood and overall feelings of wellness.
