Quiet Day with Karen Bourne "Garden of the Heart"

Par The Living Well
The Living WellNonington, England
sept. 24, 2022 to sept. 24, 2022
Aperçu

A retreat to explore how we can use the illustration of the garden to explore our relationship with God and His plans for our lives.

This day retreat with leader and artist Karen Bourne will explore how we can use the illustration of the garden to explore our relationship to our heavenly Father and His plans for our lives as we face the uncertainties around us.

My Father is the gardener… John 15:1

We will use the concept of our heart as the reflection of a garden. We will be allowing space to ask Him questions about the season we are in, what is growing in our garden and why, as well as asking our heavenly Father how He might want our garden to look. These thoughts and ideas will then be expressed in a combination of writing haiku poetry (A Japanese style poem of 3 lines of 5-7-5 syllables respectively) and art.

If you have any art materials you like to use then please bring them with you, some basic materials will be provided.

Refreshments and lunch are included in the day. Suggested donation £25.
