A not-for-profit organisation formed in 2018 to encourage community interaction in and around Wells.Our work is multi-faceted and ambitious - on the one hand, Project Factory listens; it starts conversations; it builds partnerships; it grows networks; it encourages collaboration; it communicates - on the other, it delivers informal education opportunities to grow confidence and develop skills; it holds forums and conferences to build consensus; it holds community events to inspire and create joy. It responds to the emerging ideas and ‘seeds’ and works to help organisations and individuals develop their own projects.Project Factory believes in the value of listening and curiosity, the power of experiential learning, the importance of story, the potential that lies in unique skills and gifts inherent in each member of the community - which is evoked through connection, collaboration, communication and celebration.

Join us for the 'Jubilee' Fancy Dress competition.

Recreation Ground

Don&#x27;t miss the opportunity to take part in this historic Jubilee fancy dress competition. The competition is open to groups or individuals no age restrictions. There will be 3 prizes of vouchers kindly donated by Kids Stuff Toymaster, Wells. Register here for an entry form. You will need to be in the Recreation Ground to join the procession. The Judging will take place at the end of the procession at Cathedral Green. Entries will be judged by H M Lord lieutenant of Somerset Annie Maw.
