Join the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) on  18 July, 10:30am  to hear more about this new competition, and ask your questions.

The <a href="https://www.gov.uk/dasa" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Defence and Security Accelerator</a> (DASA), on behalf of the <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/office-for-veterans-affairs" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Office of Veterans&#x27; Affairs</a> (OVA) (Cabinet Office) is seeking proposals that will drive forward better veteran health outcomes, and in the future, contribute to mainstream and sustainable improved treatments by the National Health Service. Up to £2.7 million is available to fund multiple proposals in this competition. The OVA is expecting a broad range of proposals covering the 4 themes listed below.<ul><li>Challenge 1: Digital, data and technology</li><li>Challenge 2: Surgical technology, bioengineering and rehabilitation for blast injuries</li><li>Challenge 3: Public Health, pain management, hearing loss and visual impairment</li><li>Challenge 4: Initiatives to help identify and / or provide solutions to disparities in female veterans’ health and healthcare</li></ul>Please read the competition document on the<a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/defence-and-security-accelerator" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> DASA website</a> before joining this webinar, for full details on this funding competition. It should be noted that the standard <a href="https://www.gov.uk/guidance/defence-and-security-accelerator-terms-and-conditions-and-contract-guidance" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">DASA Terms and Condition</a>s will only apply to funded applications from private companies. Successful submissions from academia and Public Sector research institutions will be managed under the OVA Terms and Conditions .This online event is your chance to hear a summary of the competition requirements, and to ask your specific questions to the project team.
