Established in 2002, Bloc Projects is a contemporary arts organisation in the centre of Sheffield.Bloc Projects is a not-for-profit creative organisation with educational and charitable aims.We support artists at key stages in their careers through an acclaimed contemporary exhibitions programme.Our free public programme of talks, heritage projects, workshops and events supports the creative professional development of the local community, promoting diverse creative career pathways and providing generous opportunities for participatory learning, meaningful arts engagement and skill development.As an organisation we continue to work with other local art organisations, universities and charities to ensure our educational activities welcome a diverse and intergenerational demographic.

Artists Sam Vardy &amp; Paula McCloskey (a place of their own) will lead tour of their immersive exhibition 'Eile {Border Fictioning}'.

The artists of a place of their own Sam Vardy and Paula McCloskey will be leading a tour of their latest immersive installation 'Eile: Border Fictioning'. They will also talk about their long-term 'Eile' project that explores alternate ways to think of and imagine borders through the lens of Ireland’s partition.--<a href="https://aplaceoftheirown.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">a place of their own</a> is the art and spatial research practice of Paula McCloskey and Sam Vardy. Through their multidisciplinary work, they interrogate and propose within entanglements of climate, capital, technology and politics. They operate as a collective, a couple, with their children and through collaborations with others.
