Listen to the wonderful spoken word of Sarah McCreadie

Jubilee Park

Come and hang out with us on a balmy August evening for a spoken word set from Sarah McCreadie. The set will be split into smaller chunks so feel free to drop in as you like. Sarah has recently been published in a young poets anthology ‘ARTICULATIONS FOR KEEPING THE LIGHT IN’, and has been featured in various showcases in Wales and more recently the Barbican.https://twitter.com/girl_like_sarah About usThe Loss Project is programming a series of workshops, talks and events in July/August 2022 as part of an exciting collaboration with The Fandangoe Kid. Last year, The Fandangoe Whip, a converted ice cream van, took to the streets to talk to people about stigmatised emotions including grief and loss, in light of the pandemic with ice cream! This year the Whip is back, in a new guise and a brand new partnership with CAUKIN studio and the Skip gallery. We hope to smash the taboos around mental health and grief/loss by bringing ice cream back to the Greenwich Design Fest and Canary Wharf’s summer festival alongside a programme of therapeutic workshops, talks and events to support people and open up the conversation about mental health.https://www.thelossproject.com/programs-2https://www.fandangoekid.com/https://www.caukinstudio.com/https://www.skipgallery.com/LocationThe Skip will be in Jubilee Park, Canary Wharf- look for a brightly coloured skip you won't be able to miss us!
