Reawakening to Life : an introduction to the Work that Reconnects

Gwyneth is a certified EQ Assessor, Coach and has a MSc in Applied Positive Psychology. Her focus is on reconencting people to themselves, each other, and to nature.Gwyneth uses a combination of coaching, mindfulness, nature connection, and facilitation to help people understand themselves and each other on a deeper level, leading to happier, more fulfilled and authentic lives. More specifically, she helps people who want to change the world to gain the strength, clarity and courage to bring their ideas into reality.In these times, where we seemingly lie on the precipice of extinction, war, climate disaster, something more than 'conventional' coaching is needed. That's why Gwyneth's work focuses more on reconnecting people with the earth and nature's cycles, in preparation for what some call The Great Turning - the unravelling of the current system as we know it. As part of this, she organises events in nature, is involved with The Work That Reconnects and Deep Adaptation, and may even invite you to her garden to reenergise.

Reawakening to our interconnectedness to life

We are the rainforests, protecting ourselves. We are the depth of the oceans, churning out the debris of civilization. We are the bees, the flowers, the field - the entire ecosystem. The concept of separation has been used for a long time to solidify the boundaries between human and non-human life. These days, many of us see humanity at the top of the pyramid, rather than as a fellow inhabitant of a shared biosphere. The othering of the non-human world and the forgetting of our true nature has brought us to a time where most of us have little to no contact with the world beyond our human-made technologies; where we learn to tolerate the background hum of machinery and construction to be able to listen to birdsong. Reawakening to Life celebrates the living, breathing biosphere that we all inhabit. It is a step on the journey of coming back to life, of realizing that you are nature, and have always been. Join us for a journey of exploration of our love for the world, with guided meditations, creative visualizations, poetry and an experience of Work That Reconnects.About the Work that Reconnects:Originally developed as a powerful resourcing tool for environmental activists, the Work That Reconnects is a system of theory, processes and rituals, which offer the gift of space to develop key insights into how the inhabitants of the beautiful Earth can come together and support a truly life-sustaining shift in our hearts and minds.
