The Venue: In the heart of Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, just a 30min train from Euston, is this gem of a hidden venue! With a large stage, great lighting rig and sound system, this independent events bar is a fantastic location for an intimate gig. With a mixture of seating and standing room at midweek events, The Crooked Crow Bar has a Blues Club vibe and has hosted some legendary gigs in it's short lifespan! Doors: 8.30pm (emails will be sent to all ticket holders if there are any changes to door times). The Performers: Bex Marshall - UK British Blues Award winner and 4 time European Blues Awards nominee Bex Marshall’s unique style of guitar playing is a combination of slide, blues rock, and roots picking. Her voice is a powerful melting pot of heartache and rock diva soul reminiscent of Janis Joplin. A writer of distinction she pushes the boundaries of blues. Her songs have been called timeless, with touches of genius. She tours internationally solo or with a three piece band which augments her unique style of virtuoso playing.Bex is the real deal!Ian Siegal - Though he is best known as a bluesman and variously described as a legend and a national treasure, a typical Siegal solo show is much more than blues, taking in the American folklore of songwriters such Guy Clarke and Townes Van Zandt, and his own genre-defying songs.
