Monologue workshop with Alison Murchie (Nancy Bishop Casting)

Alison Murchie will be giving actors the chance to bring along and perform a monologue of their own choice, with feedback and redirection if there is time. Alison Murchie has been working in casting for 10 years having previously worked as a singer, a researcher at the Imperial War Museum, and a travel writer and editor for the Guardian and Rough Guides. She has lived and worked in France, Czech Republic, Ukraine, India and Spain. She started out with Chand Casting and worked on Scottish Mussel with Tallulah Riley and Martin Compston and other independent films, and also adverts for Vodafone, Qatar Airlines and Cadbury. Since 2016 she has been working for Nancy Bishop Casting where she is an Associate. Working mainly in film and TV they have cast series for Netflix, Amazon, independent films and blockbusters and last year one a CSA award for their work on Borat 2. This workshop is 16+**If participants are unable to come to the workshop, they are able to request a refund (excluding Eventbrite&#x27;s fee) up to 4 days before the workshop (in line with Equity&#x27;s self-tape &amp; audition turn around time <a href="https://www.equity.org.uk/at-work/guides/code-of-best-practice-for-self-tape-and-zoom-auditions/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">guidelines</a>). After this, we are unfortunately unable to give a refund, but participants are welcome to give their ticket to another actor, given they are comfortable with the shorter self tape turn around time.**
