Guided Aldershot Heritage Trails Tour - Wellesley Trail

Join us for a special one-off guided tour to take you around some of Aldershot's historic points of interest on our  Wellesley Trail.

Princes Gardens, Aldershot

The Heritage Trails tell the story of Aldershot from being a small village back in 1850, and how it became the home of the British army, to its current status today. The Wellesley Trail will start at Princes Garden in Aldershot at 10.30am and will take 1.5 - 2 hours to complete. This tour is accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs, with a moderate incline at the start of the tour as the route heads up Hospital Hill. The tour will be lead by Paul Vickers, the Heritage Project Officer for the Friends of Aldershot Military Museum, and will finish back at Princes Gardens. This is a free tickets event, organised by Rushmoor Borough Council.Once you&#x27;ve taken this guided tour, why not try one of the other five Heritage Trails and download the App for audio stories, images and facts.
