Bell House is a volunteer led charity that provides creative learning for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our vision is to offer an opportunity to gather for learning, enjoyment and friendship in a special place.

This presentation will explore the reasons why children  struggle with maths and the causes of Maths anxiety.

The talk will look at practical strategies to support children with their maths learning and also how to alleviate maths anxiety. A range of approaches and manipulatives will be demonstrated.About the SpeakerJudy is an educational consultant specialising in Maths and learners with dyscalculia and dyslexia. Her teaching career started in primary schools before she moved into teaching children with special needs. Judy delivers key notes, workshops and training in Dyscalculia, Dyslexia and Maths Mastery across the world, including New Zealand, Australia and Dubai. Publications Help!
