On 25th June at 1pm, we will be holding an opening ceremony event for our project Abundance outside Birmingham Treatment Centre, Dudley Rd, Birmingham B18 7QH and we would love for you to join us.

Abundance is a garden play space that celebrates the wild nature that surrounds us, even in the midst of the city. The space has been codesigned by artists and local communities, and our opening ceremony will be your first chance to explore, play and adventure on site.

There will be harmonies of aromas to discover; thousands of textures to touch; nature-inspired tastes; birdsong melodies to compose; and potions that need to be brewed. But that’s just the beginning: Spectra will be welcoming our first visitors with a whimsical and warm performance. This will last around 25 minutes, after which your journey can continue however you like and at a pace that suits you.

The performance will include interactive elements; but we will not ask you to participate in anything you’re not comfortable with. BSL and audio description will be available. If you would like to discuss specific access needs, please do contact me to let me know how we can make you welcome.
