The Sealed Knot charity commemorates our history in a number of ways. Principally we perform re-enactments in local communities based around battles, skirmishes and sieges of the English Civil War.This includes annual events at Nantwich, Cheriton, Basing House, Marston Moor, Naseby, Edgehill and Ripple. Therefore we try to support local heritage projects related to artefacts, battlefields, commemorative plaques and monuments.

There is a full day of activity to thrill and intrigue, with food traders, beer tent and living history all available to the public before, during and after the main event, which is the spectacle of the recreation of the Battle of Edgehill in 1642.This encounter marked the start of the English Civil Wars and will feature Cannon, Musket, Calvary and Pike, staged by Europe’s largest re-enactment society, The Sealed Knot.A truly immersive day out for all the family and not one to be missed!Dates &amp; TimesSunday 28th August &amp; Monday 29th August 2022Living History and Demonstrations from 10.30am Each DayBattle commences at 12 noon Each DayLiving History, Food Traders from 10.30am - 4pm Each Day Beer Tent from 11.00am - 4pm Each DayTicket Prices£15 Per Family (2 Adults &amp; 3 Children includes parking when booked through this site)
