South East and Central Essex Mind provides mental health support across Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford, Rochford, Castle Point and South Woodham Ferrers. We offer supported housing, counselling services, wellbeing mentoring for young people and signposting for anyone who needs it. We are also a provider of mental health training, education and professional services to schools, businesses and fellow charities in our area.We have a track record of over 50 years of delivering quality mental health services in the area. Although affiliated to national Mind, we are an independent organisation and charity and are responsible for our own funding mental health services in the South East and Central Essex region. Our vision is of a society that promotes and protects good mental health for all and that treats everyone experiencing mental health problems fairly, positively and with respect.

<h2>Join us at Belfairs Woodland Centre this Summer to celebrate our  fundraisers!</h2><p>The last few years have been hard for everyone, including charities. We wanted to take this opportunity to show appreciation to you; our fundraisers, and highlight how your hard work has helped our services and work in the community. </p><h3>We wanted to gift a small token of our gratitude to our fundraisers for supporting our charity, so will be offering free rossi icecreams and coffee and cake &#x27;on us&#x27; as a thank you. </h3><p><strong>If you have fundraised for us in the last 3 years, please book your free &#x27;fundraiser ticket&#x27; in order to receive your complimentary treat on the day!</strong></p><p>We will be holding a casual &#x27;drop in, drop by&#x27; event, showcasing a gallery of our events and projects over the last few years and highlighting how you can join in with us in the future.</p><p>There will be also opportunities to take part in a raffle, become a member of our charity,  volunteer with us and find out more about our mental health services.</p><p>This is a public event to help raise awareness of our charity and our work in the community, so all are welcome to come along and find out more about us, or to simply show support!</p><p>The centre will still be open to the public, and refreshments available as usual from the Cafe.  We hope you can join us.</p>
