<h3>A open panel discussion to help </h3>This webinar, in partnership with the <a href="https://filmtvcharity.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Film and TV Charity</a>, will involve an open panel discussion looking at how to support managers and senior leaders to handle reports of bullying and harassment.A survey by the Charity in 2021 revealed that nearly 6 in 10 workers had experienced bullying or harassment in the past year alone. Of those who reported it, only 11% said things improved as a result, 73% said that that nothing changed and 16% said things actually got worse. Bullying in all its forms can be incredibly damaging and anyone can be the target of bullying. It may be deeply personal criticism, abusive behaviour or gaslighting. You might face specific types of harassment, such as racism, homophobia, sexism or ableism. In this webinar, industry experts will provide advice and guidance to those in management positions – especially those who have recently stepped up – about what they can do regarding bullying and harassment.Lucy Tallon will also talk through the development of services at the Charity and highlight how they are specifically tackling this industry issue. Their services include a dedicated support line where you can confidentially speak to an industry expert, and their Spot tool, which helps you create your own record of incidents of bullying or harassment. <h2>Lucy Tallon</h2>Lucy is a strategy, policy and advocacy expert, who specialises in mental health, workplace wellbeing and anti-bullying, harassment and discrimination interventions.As Head of Mental Health and Wellbeing at the Film and TV Charity, Lucy also researches and develops new resources and services. She’s currently planning a behaviour-change campaign aimed at bullying and harassment over the summer.Lucy sits on the BAFTA/BFI steering group on Bullying and Harassment, the ScreenSkills Mental Health Training+ working group, and she chairs the Film and TV Charity&#x27;s working group on Bullying and Collective Accountability. She’s previously worked at Mind, Comic Relief and the BBC, and is a Clore Social Leadership ‘Emerging Leader of 2022’.<h2>Philippa Childs</h2>Philippa, is Deputy General Secretary at <a href="https://prospect.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Prospect</a>, overseeing five divisions: BBC, London production, regional production, independent broadcasting and arts and entertainment. Philippa is a former civil servant, she joined Prospect in 2000, having previously worked for education and civil service unions. <h2>Brian Hill</h2>Brian is the Managing director of Century Films. He is known for directing both drama and documentary. He directed the Youtube Originals film,<a href="https://youtu.be/FzQW5d09Xwc" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Toxic</a>, a Century Films production which how a bullying culture still exists in the UK film and TV industry. Using powerful testimony from real-life survivors working in the industry, actors deliver their stories to create an unsettling and potent look at what continues to happen in some parts of the industry.
