<p>A historical walk along elegant Valley Drive overlooking Harrogate's beautiful Valley Gardens, built in the mid-1890s and home to hotels, boarding houses, apartments and private residences.  Valley Drive was built in the mid-1890s and overlooks Harrogate's lovely Valley Gardens. It was home to hotels, boarding houses, apartments and private residences. This walk looks at the origins and history of this elegant street and provides detail of residents and visitors to this famous spa town through time. The walk begins close to the entrance to the Gardens and the Pump Room Museum, along the Drive to the newly restored King Edward VII gates into the Gardens.</p>
