We are thrilled to be meeting face to face and look forward to seeing friends old and new. Trends is moving to the Royal Society of Medicine in Wimpole Street. We hope you can join us for a super programme over two days. As usual, we will be presenting challenging clinical cases provided by our nationally renowned Medical Eye Unit. There will also be updates on ‘trends’ in various ophthalmic sub specialitiesThe 9th Catherine Heatley Memorial Lecture will be awarded by Professor John Marshall to a trainee who has produced outstanding work in the southern regionT﻿icket sales closed at 5 pm on 23 February. There is NO onsite registration for Trends this year. Registration FEES and FAQEarly birdWe are offering an early bird rate which is available until 30th November 2022. We are offering substantial savings of £50 or more to those non GSTT staff who book early.For Guys and St Thomas' (GSTT) staff members only who want to attend there is a special day rate (that does not include any refreshments or catering). These tickets are very limited on a first come first served basis and ticket purchasers will be asked to provide a copy of their GSTT staff ID. Please contact us for the GSTT staff booking link.Allied professional ratesWe are offering reduced ticket prices for allied professionals (nurses, orthoptists, optometrists, medical students, foundation doctors). We do require a copy of your hospital ID or university student card ID if you purchase one of these tickets.

Trends is organised by Eyehope.Eyehope CIO is a UK charity, formed in 2007 by Ophthalmologists based at Guy’s &amp; St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust who are passionate about improving the care of eye disease.Eyehope supports research and training that leads to improvements in the safety and effectiveness of patient treatment.We fund research into the causes and treatments of sight loss.We run national courses for those treating eye conditions.We support national and international healthcare professionals with training needs, to deliver better care.Eyehope is based at the world-renowned St Thomas' Hospital in London and is registered with the Charity Commission, charity registration no. 1177770
