MAKE Southwest is a crafts charity with a gallery based in Bovey Tracey, Dartmoor. Our mission is to share the joy of making with everyone and connect people through craft. In 2019 we welcomed 160,000 visitors through our doors and over 11,000 visitors observed craft demonstrations, met artists and makers and took part in making activities within our galleries.

Sushi Making Demonstrations | 11:00 - 12:30 | 3rd August | Taste of Japan

<p>Ryuji Hodaka, who, as well as being a potter, is also a trained chef, will demonstrate the art of making sushi. He will make the process easy to understand and show participants how easy it is to do, with a bit of practice. We will also talk about the art of food presentation in Japan and the relationship between pots and food.</p>
