Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) is the national institute for health data with a mission to unite the UK’s health data to enable discoveries that improve people’s lives. It is a charity funded by UK Research and Innovation, the Department of Health and Social Care in England and equivalents in Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland, and leading medical research charities.

Join us at this free event to celebrate the global health data revolution, and work with us to continue to build the knowledge, collaborations and public trust needed to enable data-driven discoveries which improve peoples’ lives. The conference will: <ul><li>Showcase how health data science can be harnessed to transform global health and society, with a focus on making sure no groups are excluded from these data-driven improvements </li><li>Share learnings from the rapid progress made in health science and data infrastructure as a result of COVID-19, and apply these to shape the post-pandemic health data science landscape </li><li>Bring together members of the scientific community, industry and patients and the public to provide opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing </li></ul><a href="https://www.hdruk.ac.uk/news-opinion-events/events/health-data-research-uk-scientific-conference-2022-data-for-global-health-and-society/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">V﻿isit the event webpage for the agenda, speakers, and more.</a>This event will now be online-only, given the announcement by RMT of national rail strikes on 13-14 December.Online joining details will be sent to you closer to the time via Hopin, so please keep an eye out for any emails in the lead up to the event, and check your junk folder too, just in case.This event has been organised by a committee involving patients, public, researchers and staff from Health Data Research UK and our partners.
