Hydrogen is the lightest element on the periodic table, with each atom containing only a proton and an electron and nothing more. And yet it is also one of the most reactive, capable of creating giant fireballs and deafening explosions.We are delighted to welcome back Ri favourite Andrew Szydlo for another demonstration filled spectacular, exploring this exciting element. Andrew will take us on a whistle-stop tour of the history of this reactive gas, from it’s discovery in 1766 to the present day, recreating some long-lost experiments along the way.
