She asks that you remain open to experience the absurd and the ridiculous, embrace chaos and silence – and engage with your own physicality and self-awareness.This is a brilliant opportunity for people to up-skill and engage positively with self-awareness, their own physicality and lived experiences. <p>This 6 week comedy writing course starts by concentrating on developing material and learning how to maximise its comic potential.</p><p>This class is suitable for both beginners, people who want to generate new material and regulars. You are given supportive critical feedback to help you edit and hone your writing and speaking skills.</p><p>The sessions will focus on you building the confidence and pizazz to express your own point of view. Creating comedy is serious business and you will be encouraged to find the funny in everything and anything. </p><p>We work on listening and developing a rapport with your audience and concentrate on various comedy techniques.</p><p>You will investigate creating and using characters within your set. </p><p>So come along and be involved with lots of laughter, learning and a very valuable life skills.</p><h2>Cellar bar, City Gate Hotel, Exeter. </h2><h2>Tuesday 27 September 2022, 7-9.00pm for six weeks</h2><p></p><p></p>
