The haunted house is a staple of horror. Lonely, abandoned buildings where where ghostly faces leer in at leaded windows and doors creak open with ominous intent. Yet what happens when those windows become viewports to the gulfs of space and the doors are replaced with foot-thick bulkheads? In this talk Daniel Pietersen will explore the haunted spaceships and satellites of sci-fi horror and how their futuristic terrors are closer to the Gothic than you might at first image.
