Historic, family run Gardens just outside Sevenoaks, Kent.We use our gorgeous Walled garden, with terraced lawns and water feature as the perfect outdoor theatre location. Come and enjoy a picnic on the terraces before the performances start, a lovely setting for an evening under the stars watching amazing theatre.Plenty of free parking. Bring your own picnics & drinks. We also have a bar selling pimms & bubbly etc as well as hot drinks and ice creams.We have an annual Summer theatre season with a choice selection of high quality theatre making it the perfect Summer evening activity.

We are very pleased to introduce our first Willow Weaving Workshop at Riverhill Gardens. This workshop will be introducing you to the traditional craft of basket weaving, no experience is necessary, this is perfect for newcomers or those who have had some experience before. About the Instructor; Pat McFarlane has been working with willow and similar materials since doing City and Guilds at The London College of Furniture in the 1980’s. In recent years she has been making willow animals as well as baskets. Pat enjoys sharing her skill with others and teaches in many different environments.Includes all materials and coffee/tea &amp; locally made cakes during the workshop. Limited to just 6 places. Adults only please.Entrance to Riverhill Gardens is also included in the cost of your workshop.Before and after the workshop you are free to enjoy the gardens. FAQsWill tickets be available to purchase on the door ?No, you must book in advance please.Are children welcome at the event?This is an adults only workshop and is not suitable for under 18&#x27;s.What should I bring to the event? All materials and tools are available for you to use but if you have a good strong pair of secateurs please bring them along.`Please also bring water, a packed lunch and a warm layer or two. Hot drinks and cake will be provided during the workshop and you can purchase lunch in our lovely onsite cafe if you prefer.How long is the workshop?6 hours (with a break for lunch)Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?Please bring either a print out of your email confirmation, or be prepared to show the email on your mobile device.  What happens if it rains?The workshop will take place inside our Garden Room so we will be dry and snug!What is the refund policy?Unfortunately tickets are non-refundable.If we need to cancel for any reason then we will reschedule to another date or offer a refund If less than 3 people are booked on then we will need to either reschedule you to another date or issue you with a refund.Is the event accessible?We have disabled parking by the main house. There is step free access to the Garden Room but it is accessed down a fairly steep hill. Please contact Riverhill if you need more information on this. We also have disabled toilet facilities.What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?Parking at Riverhill Himalayan Gardens is free. As you enter the Gardens our parking is sign-posted to your left. Please be aware that the car park is on a hill, so our gravel walkways and paths are sloped.
