A double bill screening of two films from Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens, followed by a live Q&A

We want our events to be as accessible as possible, so we encourage those who are able to afford the standard ticket price pay accordingly, in order to subsidise those who are not.£8: Standard£4: low income/unwagedThe Museum of Sex Objects are honored to present a screening of Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens&#x27;s documentary film, Water Makes us Wet: An Ecosexual Adventure. We will also be screening The One Minutes Series&#x27; Imagine The Earth Is Your Lover, a compilation of 23 one-minute shorts curated by Annie and Beth. The screenings will be followed by a live online Q&amp;A with both directors. Annie Sprinkle was a long-time sex worker who was a pivotal player in the 1980&#x27;s sex-positive feminist movement. Beth Stephens&#x27;s early work explored lesbian and queer culture. After they got together, they married the Earth in a public ceremony in 2008 and came out as ecosexual. They created an <a href="http://sexecology.org/research-writing/ecosex-manifesto/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ecosex Manifesto</a>, which launched an international &#x27;ecosex movement.&#x27;With a poetic blend of curiosity, humour, sensuality, and concern, <a href="https://vimeo.com/237241085" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Water Makes Us Wet</a> chronicles the pleasures and politics of H2O from an ecosexual perspective. Travel around California with Annie, a former sex worker, Beth, a professor, and their dog Butch, in their E.A.R.T.H. Lab mobile unit as they explore water in the Golden State. Ecosexuality shifts the metaphor &quot;Earth as Mother&quot; to &quot;Earth as Lover&quot; to create a more reciprocal and empathetic relationship with the natural world. Along the way, Annie and Beth interact with a diverse range of folks, including performance artists, biologists, water treatment plant workers, scholars, and others, climaxing in a shocking event that reaffirms the power of water, life and love.<a href="http://www.theoneminutes.org/series/imagine-the-earth-is-your-lover" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The One Minutes Series: Imagine the Earth is Your Lover</a> is curated by Annie Sprinkle &amp; Beth Stephens and creates a document of the ecosex movement across the globe - from Belgium to Brazil, Australia to Colombia. In one-minute videos, 23 artists and filmmakers visualise their mad, passionate and fierce love for the Earth. They shift the metaphor from &#x27;Earth as Mother&#x27; to &#x27;Earth as Lover&#x27; to create a more mutual and sustainable relationship with the Earth. &#x27;Imagine The Earth Is Your Lover&#x27; is a collaboration between The One Minutes and Maastricht Institute of Arts and was made possible by the support of the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts.Double bill screening begins at 7:30pm with Water Makers Us Wet
