Selly Manor Museum

Discover the often untold stories of the trailblazing women who led the way for change and have shaped Bournville and Birmingham into the areas we know today. This walking tour will shine light on women like philanthropist Dame Elizabeth Cadbury, artist Mary Sargent Florence, and trade union activist and suffragette Julia Varley. This Birmingham Heritage Week walk is part of the Birmingham Civic Society’s Heritage Trials Project, generously funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the W A Cadbury Charitable Trust. Meet at Selly Manor Museum, Maple Road. There are accessible toilets at Selly Manor Museum, where the tour will start and finish.  Parking is available on Maple Road.
