Cre8ive Arts CIC is a new community interest company created in response to the call for individuals and organisations to re-think and re-imagine ways that our communities may recover and strengthen as we re-open from the devastating impact of the Covid-19 lockdowns.Visual arts and crafts have long been proven to be therapeutic, helping people feel more able to express themselves; providing relief from anxiety and depression, also being particularly effective in times of crisis. We seek to revitalise disused and under-utilised community spaces and venues in order to host, nurture and deliver innovative and interactive art workshops, led by experienced artists and practitioners within the local community. Cre8ive Arts CIC was created from the team behind Azawala, a South London based art and creative space company set up over 10 years ago to highlight and create awareness of contemporary African art in London.Cre8ive Arts CIC, through The National Lottery Community Fund has bought together a wealth of talented, creative practitioners to deliver a range of engaging workshops to keep you fulfilled over the coming months. Our range of interactive sessions include:Peter Payne - Cartoon Drawing WorkshopKevin Richards - Animation WorkshopMartin Grover - Screen Printing Workshop Carl Gabriel - Wire Bending WorkshopElena Juzulenaite - Mask Making Workshop Ideal for creative minds of 13+ years.Follow us on Instagram to be kept up to date. @cre8ivearts1To Book your place(s) click the REGISTER box and select the date(s) for the workshops you wish to attend.NB: Spaces are limited so please be sure to book ONLY if you are sure to attend. If you've booked and realise that you cannot make it please cancel the booking to allow others to fill the space.
