About this event

  • 5 hours 30 minutes

Hand casting can be provided for anyone at any time, but when someone is life limited, or life threatened the value is intensified.

We know memory making at end of life can create light during an often-distressing time, giving opportunities for loved ones to both have a therapeutic experience as well as leave their loved one with a tangible gift to treasure after their death.

You will learn both the practical steps to be able to make a hand cast, but also look into the emotional elements of creating one, exploring the lasting benefits of this experience.

The training is a full day here at Birmingham Hospice, all resources are provided and guidance on how to set up a casting service will be given. You will be provided with a full list of items required and offered on-going support via telephone and email.

Cost per place - £140.00

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
