The world isn't flat - neither is imagination, time to experience printing in 3D! By now you may well have heard of 3D printing, but what is it? Find out at The Making Rooms by designing your own personalised USB memory stick case for you take home, complete with 1GB of memory.

We will walk you through the process of designing your own models for 3D printing and familiarise you with the 3D printing software we use. This software is free to download at home so following this workshop there is no end to the things you can design and print.

Following this session you will go away with:

• Your own personalised USB memory stick, complete with 1GB of memory
• A basic knowledge of how to use a 3D printer
• A basic knowledge of how to design and model in 3D
• Registration to The Making Rooms user list; enabling access on our FREE open days

The session will begin at 10:00, please arrive on time ( or earlier :D )
