Intrigued by what you’ve heard about 3D printing? … Wondering about how it can be applied to medical, dental, aerospace, automotive industries as well as designing jewellery, sculptures, fashion, food & in architecture?

If you are interested in learning how to design 3D models that are suitable for printing in 3D, then come along to this intro into the state-of-the-art 3D print services that we have here at Manchester Metropolitan University. You will have a brief tour of the facilities & then learn how to design a 3D model suitable for printing … that efficiently uses materials. There are lots of independent projects that you can do after this intro using =Autodesk Fusion 360 software – including animating your object & adding augmented reality features to your 3D printed object.
