<h2>Suitable for</h2><p>This event is open to the general public plus all staff and students at the University of Bristol.</p><h2>Why you should attend</h2><p>The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is an academic research communication competition developed by the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia. The competition challenges competitors to be clear, compelling, and above all, concise as they deliver a spoken presentation on their research topic in a mere 180 seconds with one static slide.</p><p>The final will be an in-person event, with a live audience and judging panel, held at Arts Complex (Lecture Theatre B.H05) on 3 June at 3 pm. Canapes and drinks will be served after the event.</p><p>There are three prizes on offer for the winners of our 3MT competition as follows:</p><ul><li>Overall winner (as chosen by the judging panel) wins £250 of Love2Shop vouchers</li><li>People's Choice wins £75 of Love2Shop vouchers</li><li>Runner up wins £75 of Love2Shop vouchers</li></ul><p>All audience members will be invited to vote for their favourite presentation as part of the People's Choice Award.</p><h2>Further information</h2><p>Please note that there will be photography and videography at this event.
