Mae tasgau gwahanol wedi&#x27;u gosod gennyf i naill ai atal a newid symudiadau, neu eu gadael i fynd trwy&#x27;r gofod. Mae’n cael cydbwysedd rhwng y tuedd sydd gennyf tuag at fy hun mewn lleoliad byrfyfyr yn ogystal â chydnabod beth ydynt, ac a ydw i eisiau eu cael yno. Byddwch yn sylwi ar themâu a phatrymau yr wyf yn cael fy nhynnu’n naturiol tuag atynt, megis crychdonnau, siapiau crwn ac ailadrodd. Rwyf wedi rhoi rhyddid llwyr i mi fy hun heb unrhyw ddisgwyliadau, gan ryddhau chwarëusrwydd diofal y plentyn ynof. Dewch gyda mi ar y daith hon o ymwybyddiaeth ofalgar gan fy mod yn gobeithio y bydd yn amlygu ein perthynas â symudiad ymwybodol ac anymwybodol yn ein bywydau bob dydd.This film takes us through a simple journey of conscious and unconscious movements. Different tasks have been set by myself to either stop and alter movements, or simply allow them pass through the space. It finds a balance between the bias I hold towards myself in an improvisation setting as well as recognising what they are, and whether I want them there. You will notice themes and patterns I am naturally drawn to, such as ripples, circular shapes and repetition. I have given myself complete freedom with no expectations, releasing my inner child of care-free playfulness. Dylanwadwyd ar y naratif gan golled bersonol ddiweddar a chan fy heneiddio a&#x27;m dirywiad fy hun.Mae amrywiaeth o gyfeiriadau diwylliannol yn cydblethu o fewn y ddelweddaeth a’r farddoniaeth: Alice’s adventures, cân gan Bowie, Elliot&#x27;s Wasteland, gwasanaeth angladd, yr offeren lafarganu Gatholig i&#x27;r meirw, pandemigau&#x27;r gorffennol. Mae&#x27;r diwedd yn anochel, sut bynnag byddwn yn edrych ar bethau. A 1960 photograph of Picasso by Philippe Halsman triggered the initial imagery of Dust and Ashes, a short film that continues an exploration into how all life on Earth is connected. The narrative was influenced by recent personal loss and by my own ageing and decay.Within the imagery and poetry are interwoven a variety of cultural references: Alice’s adventures, a Bowie song, Elliot’s Wasteland,the funeral service, the Catholic plain chant mass for the dead, past pandemics. No matter how we look at it the end is inevitable.
