This informal workshop session is ideal for people who have a handmade product which they are looking to sell - but they are struggling to work out their pricing.This session will look at:<ul><li>Picking a final retail price</li><li>Materials</li><li>Overheads </li><li>Time and workload</li><li>Online commissions</li><li>Selling wholesale</li></ul>It&#x27;s a thorough overview of pricing, and will give you plenty of information to help you develop a sustainable and profitable small business.---About the Practitioner: Becka Griffin at <a href="https://www.makeandflourish.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Make and Flourish</a> is a professionally-trained graphic artist who has been selling illustrations since 2009. Based in Liverpool City Centre, Becka is an experienced UK Etsy seller with over 28,000 sales and she is Captain of the Merseyside Etsy Team.

About the programme:This session is part of a programme of workshops designed to provide tailored support to artists, makers and creatives living in the Liverpool City Region. Devised by <a href="https://makecic.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Make CIC </a>and in partnership with <a href="https://www.baltic-creative.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Baltic Creative CIC</a>, each workshop is delivered in person by local expert practitioners who are able to share knowledge and valuable insight on each chosen topic.About Eligibility:This session is open to individuals living in the Liverpool City Region (Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, Wirral, St Helens, or Halton) only.This session is part of a wider project called <a href="https://makecic.org/enterprise-hub/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Enterprise Hub Skills </a>which is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). In order to access this support for free, all attendees are required to prove their eligibility in line with ESF's funding requirements. FAQsWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?By Car: There is free, 2 hour, on street parking outside 49 Jamaica Street and in the surrounding area. By Train: The nearest Train Station to the venue is Liverpool Central Station and it's a 15 minute walk away or you can pick up the 82 which drops you near the venue. By Bus: The venue is situated in the Baltic Triangle. All Bus routes can be found <a href="https://moovitapp.com/index/en-gb/public_transportation-Baltic_Triangle-North_West-site_22891003-2105" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>. By Bike or E-shooter: <a href="https://liverpool.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/getting-around-liverpool/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">VOI Scooters </a>are regularly available at this venue and cycle lock stands are situated outside the venue. on Jamaica Street.Will refreshments be available?The venue (The Shed meeting space) is situated at 49 Jamaica Street, AKA 92 Degrees Coffee Shop. They have a variety of food and drink available. Water will be provided at this session. How accessible is the venue?The venue is fully accessible and is situated on the ground floor at 49 Jamaica Street. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?A register will be taken at this session, it isn't necessary to print your ticket.Cancellation policyGiven that this event is free to attend, we do ask that those who sign up, but who cannot make it, let us know ASAP so we can reallocate the ticket. RegistrationAttendees will need to complete additional registration requirements for this session no later that 1 week before the event takes place. Make CIC's Enterprise Manager, Alison James (AJ), will be in contact with you once you have signed up via Eventbrite to complete the registration process.
