Are you looking to build your online community of followers and customers? Are keen to explore new ways of engaging with your community but not sure where to start? This session will focus on a variety of creative ways that you can share your stories and engage with your audience and customers in order to grow your online community and online presence.This session will cover:<ul><li>Creating an online community. What does this mean for you?</li><li>Starting up your online presence</li><li>Website vs social media - what’s the best for you?</li><li>What is your unique selling point?</li><li>Communicating with your community</li><li>Blogs &amp; Newsletters</li></ul>---About the Practitioner: Fiona Shaw is an award-winning journalist, copywriter and publisher with over 20 years&#x27; experience. As leader of <a href="https://www.wordscape.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Wordscape</a>&#x27;s talented and multi-skilled team, Fiona is always looking at good ways of communicating with people, telling your story in a distinct, accessible and relevant voice. She’s also the publisher of good business magazine Ethos.

About the programme:This session is part of a programme of workshops designed to provide tailored support to artists, makers and creatives living in the Liverpool City Region. Devised by <a href="https://makecic.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Make CIC </a>and in partnership with <a href="https://www.baltic-creative.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Baltic Creative CIC</a>, each workshop is delivered in person by local expert practitioners who are able to share knowledge and valuable insight on each chosen topic.About Eligibility:This session is open to individuals living in the Liverpool City Region (Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, Wirral, St Helens, or Halton) only.This session is part of a wider project called <a href="https://makecic.org/enterprise-hub/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Enterprise Hub Skills </a>which is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF). In order to access this support for free, all attendees are required to prove their eligibility in line with ESF's funding requirements. FAQsWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?By Car: There is free, 2 hour, on street parking outside 49 Jamaica Street and in the surrounding area. By Train: The nearest Train Station to the venue is Liverpool Central Station and it's a 15 minute walk away or you can pick up the 82 which drops you near the venue. By Bus: The venue is situated in the Baltic Triangle. All Bus routes can be found <a href="https://moovitapp.com/index/en-gb/public_transportation-Baltic_Triangle-North_West-site_22891003-2105" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>. By Bike or E-shooter: <a href="https://liverpool.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/getting-around-liverpool/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">VOI Scooters </a>are regularly available at this venue and cycle lock stands are situated outside the venue. on Jamaica Street.Will refreshments be available?The venue (The Shed meeting space) is situated at 49 Jamaica Street, AKA 92 Degrees Coffee Shop. They have a variety of food and drink available. Water will be provided at this session. How accessible is the venue?The venue is fully accessible and is situated on the ground floor at 49 Jamaica Street. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?A register will be taken at this session, it isn't necessary to print your ticket.Cancellation policyGiven that this event is free to attend, we do ask that those who sign up, but who cannot make it, let us know ASAP so we can reallocate the ticket. RegistrationAttendees will need to complete additional registration requirements for this session no later that 1 week before the event takes place. Make CIC's Enterprise Manager, Alison James (AJ), will be in contact with you once you have signed up via Eventbrite to complete the registration process.
