This guided walk takes in the history of Windsor’s breweries and pubs including the sites of some of the more notorious pubs such as The Spread Eagle in George Street and the Black Horse Inn in Park Street. Hear about the Royal Standard pub which once operated within the walls of Windsor Castle plus dark deeds in town centre pubs including one where the landlady was deported to Australia for her crimes! Walk starts at the Windsor and Eton Brewery and finishes at The Two Brewers by which time you will know exactly why it is called The Two Brewers.
