Celebrating Words! A Poetry Launch and Open Mic

Bell House is a volunteer led charity that provides creative learning for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our vision is to offer an opportunity to gather for learning, enjoyment and friendship in a special place.

Join award-winning poet, Jenny Mitchell, to celebrate the launch of her third collection, Resurrection of a Black Man. Jenny’s work has been described as ‘powerful’ by Helen Hayes MP who will be introducing the evening. There will also be guest poets and an open mic. Booking essential.Tickets include a reading from Jenny. There will be a break for refreshments, followed by 4/5 guest poets, ending with another short reading from Jenny.TicketingPay what you like - £3 minimum. All proceeds to go to Bell House with 3 free places for anyone who doesn't feel able to pay this month.
