North East Screen&#x27;s Crew Academy supports those looking to begin their career working in film and TV with the knowledge and skills to find work.Join us for a one day, in-person Bootcamp to find out more about working in feature film and TV drama production. With sessions on what to expect working in the industry, and how to perfect your CV, as well as insights from experienced crew giving their top tips for getting into and getting on in the industry, Bootcamp is a must to hep you get your foot in the door. This is a perfect opportunity to learn from top industry professionals and have your questions answered.Y﻿ou MUST be 18 or over and be based in the North East. 3rd year degree and final year students welcome. Thanks to the support of our funders there is no charge for this event.More details on the speakersMatt Gallagher is the founder of thecallsheet.co.uk and has spent 20 years working in the film and TV industry. Matt is the author of the industry bestseller ‘Breaking into UK Film and TV Drama’ and has delivered, led, and talked at industry training programmes and events for The Oscars, Warner Bros., Film London, ScreenSkills, Pinewood Studios and Into Film.Jude Winstanley is a freelance, broadcast television Line Producer with over 20 years of experience in production. She is also the founder of an online jobs board for the TV industry: www.theunitlist.com. Jude combines working at the coalface of TV production management with delivering industry training. Regularly invited to speak at universities, social enterprises and industry events, Jude is also a volunteer events producer for the Royal Television Society and often consulted on industry developments.NE Screen Crew Academy aims to increase the North East’s crew base by identifying skills shortages and implementing training and up-skilling opportunities within production. We are working to develop an inclusive workforce in film and television and strongly encourage applications from under-represented groups, particularly those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds or those who consider themselves disabled.
